Devro, the second largest manufacturer of sausage casings, had stringent requirements for APS software: to check material availability and control inventory level, reduce planner’s operative activities, confirm customer’s requirement date, quickly display consequences of production changes, and deliver quick and exact scheduling overall.
After the first implementation in 2015 at their Czech Republic site, Devro made Asprova their global solution, with production sites in Scotland, Czech Republic, USA, Australia, and China all running Asprova by 2018. They also standardized the planning logic and KPIs for all facilities, improved material traceability and supply chain management, and improved data overview capabilities.
