Formaster x Asprova
Formaster S.A. has been producing water handling products and devices for over 30 years initially focusing on water heaters and now specializing in water filters, jugs, and filtering bottles.
Before implementing Asprova, there was no integrated scheduling system in place to cover all production processes. Each department scheduled individually, mostly manually with Excel. The biggest issue was the lack of visibility into orders’ status throughout production. Without coordination between departments, frequent shortages of raw materials, purchased parts, or semi-finished products occurred.
With the introduction of Asprova in 2015, Formaster is now able to schedule all production processes and orders company-wide, while factoring in inventory levels. Asprova is integrated with the ERP system Enova 365 and their MES.
The scheduling process improved dramatically. Asprova now analyzes production orders and inventory, allowing the scheduler to focus on order analysis and preventing issues before they arise. Productivity increased significantly, resulting in 10-15% more output without additional investment. The product range doubled, and OEE improved considerably. Inventory dropped by 20-30%, and lead times were significantly reduced. The greatest benefit has been the transparency gained in tracking order status at every stage.
