Before
Customer‘s Challenges
Multiple schedulers relying on Excel
Scheduling limited to key work areas
Difficulty in synchronizing processes and making forecasts
Mismatch between scheduling and actual workload
After
Results with Asprova
One scheduler, 30 minutes daily
Scheduling across all processes and production areas
Accurate forecasts on production and delivery
Reduced inventory through better synchronization

With Asprova we could extend scheduling to all jobs and operations; we are able to calculate scheduled operation times much more accurately, and we benefit from reduced WIP and overall inventory.
ABOUT THE COLLABORATION
Danwood x Asprova
Danwood is one of the largest producers of turn-key prefabricated wooden houses in Europe with a production capacity of 2,000 houses per year.
Before Implementation
Before Asprova APS was introduced, production at Danwood’s two plants in Poland was scheduled by multiple specialists using Excel, and only the work areas most important to the overall production process were considered. Production times were calculated using simplified methods, which often didn’t reflect the actual workload. Synchronizing processes and predicting production times was challenging.
Improvements with Asprova
Since 2018, Asprova APS has been used to schedule all production processes, from material procurement to processing, finishing touches, and truck loading. Scheduling was extended to cover all production areas and operations, incorporating far more data for sequence scheduling, which allows production times for all processes to be calculated down to the minute. Asprova APS schedules 20,000 operations daily. The production schedule is now more flexible and synchronized, resulting in lower levels of semi-finished goods and inventory.
Asprova APS is integrated with MS Dynamics 365 and an MES from EQ System. Scheduling all processes across both plants only takes 30 minutes each day.
