Bopisa x Asprova

Bopisa, S.C. de R.L. in Mexico produces flexible packaging for different kinds of food products. In Guadalajara they use the blown film extrusion process before packaging is customized through printing, laminating, and cutting.  

Before Implementation

Before implementing Asprova APS in 2020, scheduling was done manually in Excel, which caused many orders to be run out of sequence. The scheduling outcomes did not reflect the reality of the shop floor, resulting in numerous delays. 

Improvements with Asprova

Asprova schedules Bopisa’s entire value-added chain. It generates a production schedule twice daily, providing clear sequencing instructions. In just 6 months, Asprova APS helped increase manpower efficiency by 50%, reduce finished goods inventory by 10%, and improve on-time delivery from 50% to 80%. Frequent data updates allow monitoring orders at every stage of the production process. Asprova APS manages both static and dynamic information, continuously updating purchase orders, production orders, maintenance orders, and inventory level.
