Hannover Messe 2026

Hannover Messe is the world’s leading trade fair for technologies driving industrial transformation. From April 20–24, 2026, it brings together the technologies and the people shaping what’s next for industry. The 2026 guiding theme, Think Tech Forward, puts the spotlight on automation and digitalization, energy and industrial infrastructure, research and technology transfer, and industrial AI—always in an end-to-end industrial context, not as isolated headlines. With around 3,500 exhibitors, 1,600+ speakers, 123,000 on-site visitors, 10,000+ products and solutions, and 300+ startups, it’s a concentrated snapshot of where manufacturing is headed.

The Entire Spectrum of Industry

From automation and drive engineering to energy, R&D, industrial IT, and supplier industries, Hannover Messe represents the full spectrum of manufacturing. A wide variety of production models, technologies, and industrial realities come together. This intersection between technology and industrial reality also shapes our own identity. Our solutions create synergies wherever scheduling systems need to work across industries and technologies. They are designed to realistically schedule, evaluate, and manage complex production and supply chain structures.

International by Nature

As a global platform that reaches beyond national borders, Hannover Messe welcomes around one third of its professional visitors from international markets, more than half of them from outside the EU. Visitors travel long distances to experience technologies, solutions, and trends side by side.  This reflects the way we operate: internationally positioned, with offices from the United States to Japan and software solutions available in 17 languages. Not as an exception, but as a reflection of the DNA of manufacturing in the 21st century.

Partner Country 2026: Brazil

Brazil is the partner country of Hannover Messe 2026 and presents itself as a driving force for sustainable industrial transformation. As Latin America’s largest economy, the country has a diverse and competitive industrial sector, ranging from aerospace and automotive to oil, gas, capital goods, medical equipment, chemical, and technology sectors. With the launch of the “New Industry Brazil” (NIB) program in 2024, the country introduced a long-term industrial policy aimed at reindustrialization. The initiative focuses on increasing productivity through innovation and sustainability while addressing long-standing structural challenges.

Looking Ahead

Many professional visitors come to Hanover with clear business objectives. They are searching for innovation, trends, and technology leaders — not in abstract terms, but in the context of real questions and concrete decisions. At the same time, Hannover Messe is widely seen as the most important window into the future of industry. Its annual focus topics capture the developments that matter most to manufacturing today. Technologies are not presented in isolation, but in relation to real-world requirements and decision-making. The dialogue centers on the issues that truly move industry forward and on looking through the windows to the future of the manufacturing industry — as part of an industrial ecosystem where the future is not predicted, but shaped step by step.
