Your Future Image for High-Level Lean Production Scheduling

Manufacturing companies aim for synchronized processes, minimal lead times, and maximum resource efficiency—buzzwords like Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, and Digital Factory have shaped the discussion for years. Yet, as long as businesses still rely on paper, pen, and Excel spreadsheets, the digital vision often remains a distant goal.

A crucial first step is developing a clear “Future Image” for one’s own production as well as for production scheduling and control. This vision defines the target state of a lean, highly efficient production environment.

In our on-site event in cooperation with the VDMA, we’re offering the chance not only to explore this concept theoretically but also to experience it in practice during a visit to our long-standing customer, GEBHARDT Intralogistics, and to discuss it in depth.

About VDMA

The Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA) was founded in 1892 and is headquartered in Frankfurt am Main. In 2025, it counts over 3,600 member companies, primarily from the medium-sized machinery and plant engineering sector, representing about 90% of the industry in Germany. VDMA serves as the voice and network platform of the industry, providing its members with a wide range of services—from advocacy and technical information to networking events and practical working groups and studies covering topics such as digitalization, Industry 4.0, and sustainability.

We look forward to welcoming interested VDMA members together with our outstanding customer GEBHARDT Fördertechnik as part of this new format, spending an inspiring day on-site, and engaging in in-depth discussions in a small and focused group.
